What makes us different?

It was decided at the very beginning that we'd use nothing but the best equipment and raw ingredients to establish a benchmark of culinary excellence.

  • Everything starts with water: our baking, our coffee, our ice, soups… everything. We have installed one of the finest multi-stage water filtration systems by EverPure. Water and filtration was among the first considerations because bad water makes everything taste bad.
  • Our Smoothies are made with all natural real fruit, mixed with organic yogurt, our purified ice and blended until they are silky smooth. They are truly gourmet.
  • Our Coffee Bean blends are specified by us and roasted to perfection in Brooklyn where they arrive to us within a day of roasting. You will not find a better consistent blend for taste, low acidity, richness, and robust undertones. It took us 10 years of experimentation just to achieve our (3 bean variety) espresso blend. A creation by coffee snobs; and even if you don't know anything about coffee, you'll know ours is unique.
  • Myong's Muffins are created right here, loaded with fresh fruit, made with white or bran spelt flour, and love. It's a private recipe just like her blondies, brownies, cookies and rugulah.
  • Asian Marinade, Sesame Cream, Spicy Mango, Citrus Asian, Lime Cilantro, are just a few of Myong's signature sauces and marinades that adorn the huge variety of creations her fans have fallen in love with.
  • Asian Coleslaw and Bok Choy salads are everyday healthy favorites. Just add some sliced grilled chicken, or maybe Myong's “whitefish-salmon salad” to complete a fabulous meal, healthy style.
  • Veggies are delivered fresh daily. All of our Asian vegetables are selected by Myong and she will not accept anything less than perfect. We have in our kitchen a pressure steamer that will keep in all the nutritional value and give our veggies a bright green wholesome taste and look. With a quick flash stir-fry in Myong's wok you'll get delicious taste bite after bite.
  • Our Chicken is fresh, never frozen; our Beef is selected and aged by us. We specify select cuts and never pass off cheap beef. Our lamb is outstanding. Our hand-rubbed, middle eastern rack of lamb, is like nothing else you've ever tasted.
  • Our marinated and seared Sushi-Grade Tuna with a Sesame Wasabi cream sauce is always a favorite. Deep red inside and crusted with spices, and black & blond sesame seeds makes for a great Saturday evening dinner with friends. Myong's crab cakes are legendary; no filler, no junk, just all crab and Myong’s special spices. The same can be said about her shrimp cakes. Chilean Sea Bass is another favorite along with our pan seared Wild Salmon in a balsamic reduction.
